walker reunion

Garrett's side of the family has a reunion every other year where each branch of the family is in charge of an activity. They are spread out over three days of fun. We didn't realize that the girls would start school before the Walker reunion so we checked them out of school and drove down to the Salt Lake area for Garrett's Family reunion...

The girls were ecstatic to see family from all over...especially Aunt Frisha...

We had an ice cream social...complete with Family Feud...

The 2nd ever Joel M Walker Memorial 5K. Gracie and Kes ran the 5K with Garrett and their cousin Zach...I ran about 2 miles with Sophie...she only complained about half the time, but I was proud of my kiddos...

We went to Utah Lake which is...uh...not the best lake...but not the worst...We had fun, the girls love Dad's cousin Gentry.

The girls had the opportunity to get glitter toes...my favorite!...

Bingo night is a big favorite with the kids...those who win get candy...some with envelopes attached that may contain dollar bills...

Throughout the reunion Garrett's Aunt Barbara had us help with a service project making dolls to donate to a children's hospital...

It was great to see Garrett's family and get to know them better. We had so much fun!
