Happy Anniversary

I can hardly believe it has been nine years since we got married. It was fun to pull out the old wedding photo album and watch the kids look at the pictures. I'm glad I wore a tiara, the girls think I'm a princess.
Some things I remember about our wedding day:
It was a clear day, except for when the pictures outside were taken, it was raining then.
I had a special clip in my hair that a relative sent to me that had sentimental and ancestral value.
It was the BYU vs. Utah game. The TV was on during the wedding breakfast. I still laugh about that.
There was construction going on around the temple.
Inside the temple, with Garrett, was the most peaceful, happy moment of the day.

Happy Birthday Husband

I want to wish my amazing husband a happy birthday. I love him so much, I still get butterflies and weak knees when I see him.He is such an amazing person. He has so many roles to fill, and he does so well at each of them. He is a great student, teacher, and manager just to name a few...

A thoughtful husband...

A caring, involved dad...

a great brother, and son.

He is good at so many things, he loves road bikes and mountain bikes. We feel so lucky to be in his family, just a great guy all around.

Halloween Day

We went visiting for Halloween this year. We went to Julies house first where we ate lunch and put makeup on.

Then we went to Grandma Walkers to say boo to the girls Great Grandma (great in more ways than one)

Ellie was their too, she is the girls Great Aunt.

Sophie fell asleep on the way to Orem, too much fun in one day.

Then the girls sang songs and recited poems from their class parties to Grammie and Grandpa

We ended up at Grandma Shannon's and, who is that scary character, Grandpa Mike. Shannon made the kids laugh so hard for this picture, they were hard to photograph.

school parties

The girls had different activities this year for halloween. I can't believe what a big holiday it is turning out to be. Sophie was dorothy, after many failed attempts at dora and cinderella. Luckily we had that dorothy costume from Gracie and Kestlie. Her teacher went all out and dressed up as a green witch. Here is a picture of her with her freind Bethany, from preschool. Gracie had a fun Halloween party in her classroom. I stayed there and helped with refreshments and games. They played a game where they walked in a circle on numbers and when the music stopped, if thier number was called, they got a prize. Kestlie had a program where they sang songs and said poems. She was a ballerina. For some reason only the kindergartners were allowed to dress up at school this year.
